Sky Ranch offers a variety of Christ-centered outdoor ministry experiences for people of all ages. Our caring and dedicated staff share God’s unending grace in spontaneous and powerful was—acting as compassionate role models for the campers in their care. Join us at Sky Ranch—where we Facilitate an Encounter with Christ on the Mountaintops. Guests experience the beauty of creation and embrace the simplicity and joy of life in community, seeking to live the Gospel through the rhythms of camp. Sky Ranch staff strive to facilitate meaningful and memorable camp experiences—all with the goal of equipping campers to live out the Gospel down the mountain—wherever they might go!
LOWER ELEMENTARY
Completed Grades 1-3, $300
Our Lower Elementary half-week program is designed with your first camp experience in mind! Campers will get to spend 3 nights on the mountain exploring, learning, and growing in confidence and faith. They will get to sample much of what Sky Ranch has to offer–games, crafts, team building, worship, Bible study and more!--and even help to plan and lead a worship! Adults are welcome to join in on that special camper-led worship at 11am on Wednesday before picking up their campers!

UPPER ELEMENTARY
Completed Grades 3-5, $495
Our upper elementary program is filled with engaging activities, wholesome friendships, and an opportunity to dive into faith in new and meaningful ways. From exciting team-building challenges and time in nature to Bible Studies and campfire worship, each day is packed with lots of fun and lots of faith. Campers will grow in confidence, explore what it means to live out their faith, gain social awareness, and foster genuine friendships as they spend time in community with peers and camp staff. Every cabin is staffed with one or two counselors who are dedicated to fostering a supportive community of faith and learning!

MIDDLE SCHOOL

Our week-long Middle School program is designed to ignite your child's spirit with enriching friendships, faithful conversation, and new adventures. Campers will grow in confidence and faith as they participate in a variety of activities including art, games, Bible Study, worship, team-building, and more. As an extra treat, Middle School campers will have the chance to take on our high ropes challenge course, and camp out under the sparkling night sky. Join us on the mountain this summer for an unforgettable experience that will give your children something to talk about all year long.

Mountain Movers Middle Schooler

NEW THIS YEAR! Join us for our first ever middle and high school focused week, where we will welcome Middle and High School aged youth to the mountain for a week like never before. Reach new heights on our high ropes course, raft the Poudre river (offered for Middle School for the FIRST time at Sky Ranch!), make new friends, participate in team building activities, and ramp up for some all-camp game competition! Our enthusiastic and passionate staff will facilitate Bible Studies and Worships planned with your youth in mind–inviting them to explore what it means to live out their faith on the mountain and as they travel back down!

STAFF-IN-TRAINING

Our SIT program is built for youth in their Junior or Senior year High School who are hoping to one day work at camp. Get an early, behind-the-scenes look at how a week of camp functions, learning everything from programmatic pieces to operations of the site. Your SIT week will take place at the beginning of the summer, allowing you to then volunteer your time on staff for up to three weeks towards the later half of the season.

If you’re looking for the highest possible level of Rocky Mountain adventure, then the RRR program is for you! Experience a week of extreme outdoor rec opportunities including our high ropes challenge course, hiking the beautiful Rocky Mountains, and an overnight rafting trip!

RENDEZVOUS

Spend the week at camp participating in all the adventures we have to offer. Featuring an on-site service project, day hike, high ropes challenge course, and whitewater rafting, campers will challenge themselves while enjoying God's great creation. Our Rendezvous program revolves around rustic traditions – youth this week will cook meals over the fire and sleep in platform tents at our Beaver Flats.

Mountain Movers High Schooler

A new program! A new schedule! Come experience Sky Ranch In an all-new way while learning how your faith can move mountains. This new offering invites both senior and junior high youth for a week of daily electives that let you craft your week how you want It, as well as all-camp games, and the opportunity to meet new friends. Mountain Movers will operate in a traditional cabin style and encourages both group and Individual registrations to come have the greatest week of their summer at Sky Ranch.

Over the week, you'll trek through remote areas, learning essential backpacking skills like water filtration, navigation, and backcountry cooking while camping under the stars. Each day brings exciting adventures and breathtaking views, fostering connections with nature and fellow hikers. Suitable for both experienced backpackers and beginners, our guides will ensure a safe and memorable experience. Lace up your boots and get ready for an incredible journey! Routes are customized for all ability and skill levels. Rafting and high ropes available for an additional fee.

Leave-A-Trace

Adopt-a-trail

Join us for an exciting week at our Adopt-a-Trail program, designed for high school campers eager to explore the wilderness of Northern Colorado while preserving the local trail system around Sky Ranch. In partnership with the US Forest Service, campers will learn essential trail maintenance skills, engage in community-building activities, and participate in Bible studies focused on environmental stewardship. This program promises a week of growth, learning, and adventure, fostering a spirit of conservation and inspiring others to appreciate the beauty of the great outdoors.
Denver urban immersion
Completed Grades 9-12, $555
Sky Ranch's Denver Urban Immersion program, in partnership with Urban Servant Corp, offers a unique camp experience that blends service and adventure through urban education and community engagement. The program is divided into two halves: the first focuses on meaningful service projects in Denver, addressing issues like systemic poverty and homelessness, fostering empathy and social responsibility among campers. The second half takes place in the mountains at Sky Ranch, where campers enjoy team-building activities, hiking, and campfires, promoting camaraderie and personal growth. By combining impactful service with memorable outdoor experiences, the program empowers campers to apply their newfound knowledge and compassion to make a lasting difference in their communities.

Adult Participant/Chaperone
Sky Ranch Lutheran Camp invites adult chaperones to join us on these mountaintops. Chaperones enhance the camp experience by participating in activities and fostering community. Options are available for full or half-week participation, allowing flexibility. This role is more than supervision; it's about contributing to the joyful experiences at Sky Ranch. Join us for something special!
