Summer Staff

Sky Ranch hires 45-50 young adults each summer. Staff work and live in community at camp. Working at Sky Ranch requires long hours, patience and compassion with children, and a desire to share faith. Working at Sky Ranch also includes outdoor adventures, new friendships, leadership development, and so much more!

ELIGIBILITY

APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS

  • Applications for counselor and specialist positions must be one year out of High School.
  • Current High School seniors are eligible for our resource staff position.
  • Applicants must be willing to commit to working the full camp season (May 28 - August 9).
  • Individuals who have been charged or convicted for offenses including, but not limited to: child abuse, domestic violence, or sexual offenses, are not eligible to work at camp.
  • Applicants must complete the application by the posted deadlines.
  • Sky Ranch must have three references on file before an employment offer is made.
  • Each applicant must complete an interview and background check.
  • Complete an Staff Application.  All sections of the application must be completed and saved.
  • After receiving completed applications, Sky Ranch staff will contact applicants to schedule an interview.

Leadership Staff Training will begin May 18th. All summer staff training will begin May 26th.

We are hiring for our seasonal:

Summer Registrar Position

Different from the other summer positions, this position is down the mountain in Fort Collins! If you love camp but are looking for a job that keeps you in Fort Collins, this job is a way to get both!


The Camp Registrar is working in collaboration with Sky Ranch Office Manager, Ingrid Johnson, to oversee the general administrative needs of Sky Ranch including summer registrations for individual campers and groups, minor bookkeeping, communications with parents/guardians, and coordinators. Job responsibilities are based out of Sky Ranch's Fort Collins office, with the expectation that the summer registrar oversees Sunday registration at camp.

Seasonal Childcare Specialist

*NEW* this year! Our resource/childcare specialist will share in all of the duties normal resource staff have, but will spend the first half of the day (and sometimes other times) with children who are too young to join in on our camp programming. This may include children of our year round staff, adult chaperones, or other guests who find themselves at camp and in need of childcare! If you love smaller kiddos, this job is perfect for you! *Resource staff who are not old enough to meet the requirements for counselor ARE eligible for this position as well!*
