Are you looking for a low stress, affordable, week of family fun, faith, and fellowship? What better way to spend a family vacation than a week up on the mountaintop. This program is full of all the fun camp activities - hiking, worship, games, Bible study, and more - catered to all ages!
In the mornings, children and youth will enjoy bible study and camp activities with our energetic and enthusiastic camp staff, while adults soak in various sessions with our guest speakers. Some mornings may also include intergenerational fun! Afternoons and evenings are filled with activities for the whole family, from camp crafts to games and more. On the fourth of July, we'll gather together for a community cookout with all the family favorites – including hamburgers, hot dogs, and veggie burgers! – and spend time celebrating in the great outdoors. Celebrate with us this July 4th week, we can’t wait to see you there!
**Rafting is available for ages 7 years and older for an additional cost of $90 per person.

Joe, Becca, and their two sweet kiddos, Espen and Linnea, will be joining us on the mountaintop for Family Camp: June 30 - July 5.
Becca and Pastor Joe met while working as summer staff here at Sky Ranch Lutheran Camp in 2011. They have continued to support this ministry in various ways following their time on staff, but we are excited they will be adding Family Camp Leaders to that list this summer!
Becca, originally from Greeley, is a school counselor in Johnstown, CO working with kids in kindergarten through 8th grade. Joe grew up in Fargo, ND and now serves as the pastor of Bethel Lutheran Church in Windsor, CO.

Camp activities - such as hiking, craft sessions, worship and games take on new life with a Christmas twist.

Mary and Tim are retired ELCA pastors. They served congregations in Ohio, Wisconsin, Florida and North Carolina, but for most of their career (25 years) they were directors of Lutheridge Camp in the NC mountains. They raised three boys as “Camp Kids” and now enjoy their beautiful families - including five wonderful grandchildren.
Mary is an artist and storyteller. Tim loves to teach songs and games. They look forward to sharing these gifts with family camp, as well as the opportunity to celebrate the birth of Christ without all the chaos and commercialism. Come to enjoy Christmas crafts, songs, stories and games as a family. We’ll use the gospel stories of Jesus’ birth to examine our traditions and expectations surrounding Christmas, and create celebrations that reflect our values and desires. We are excited to delight together in the beauty of Sky Ranch and the joy of community, all wrapped up in the gift of Christmas.
