"DOWN THE MOUNTAIN" EVENTS

At Sky Ranch, we offer various opportunities to join us on the mountaintops beyond our summer camp programs. Here, we distinguish these opportunities between retreats and events:

  • Retreats are weekend programs held on the mountaintops, including an overnight stay at camp.
  • Events are day programs usually offered down the mountain in collaboration with our partner congregations.

WORK WEEKENDS

Throughout the year, Work Weekends are scheduled to prepare the camp for the upcoming seasons. It's a wonderful opportunity to come together as a community and make a difference at camp. Various projects suitable for all ages and abilities are available. Whether you're handy with tools or prefer working on creative projects, there's something for everyone to contribute. Meals and lodging will be provided.

Coyote Howl YOUTH DISCIPLESHIP Retreat

PLAN AHEAD! Dates: OCTOBER 2-4, 2026

MIDDLE SCHOOL (MS) Campers (6-9th graders)

Coyote Howl Discipleship Retreat provides a sacred space for MS students to engage in community building, faith formation and worship with youth from the Rocky Mountain Synod. The program supports congregational confirmation curriculum and emphasizes individual faith journeys and connections with others. The retreats occur during the peak season of changing colors, offering a unique setting for youth to explore their faith away from distractions. The focus is on learning about our faith reformers and how we can be the modern day voices, hands and feet for the things that need transformation in our world. Register today- spots are limited! MANY PATHS,
ONE PURPOSE RETREAT

Date: SEPT 18-20, 2026  ALL ages are welcomed to the mountain at the most beautiful time of year! Bring your family, friends, faith community or just your self and be immersed in MANY opportunities to do what your spirit most needs. 3 adult/older youth tracks to choose from (Artisan, Fly Fishing and Yoga), Kids Camp track or just enjoy the splendor God's creation-rest, read, make new friendships. DOWN the MOUNTAIN EVENTS: Bringing God's Song to the World

In our new chapter, we are eager to partner with congregations, conferences, community organizations for service and mission events, youth fellowship and discipleship events, congregational visits and partnership development. We'll bring the energy, joy, faith focus and creativity of the best BELL TOWER gatherings and onsite weeks to YOUR setting, for a Sunday youth group gathering, Wednesday worship, week long Spring Break city-immersion or conference-wide youth lock-in/onsite retreat.
