All About: Angie

Hello Sky Ranch community! My name is Angie McDonald and I feel incredibly fortunate to have come full circle and return to a place that has shaped so much of my life—Sky Ranch. After a great career in education, I’m beginning a new chapter in a very familiar book by stepping into the role of Interim Office Manager/Registrar. My journey with Sky Ranch began back in 1993 when I worked on kitchen staff.  After college, I joined the Urban Servant Corps, where I helped develop the Urban Plunge week as part of the Four Winds Program—another rewarding experience deeply tied to the mission of Sky Ranch.Over the years, I’ve worn many hats here, including backpack guide, year-round staff member, and Board member. 

This camp isn’t just part of my resume—it’s part of my heart. I met my husband, Tad, there while we were both counselors, and our children have grown up surrounded by this community; first as campers and now 2 of them, Luke and Norah, as counselors themselves. Sky Ranch has had a profound impact on my faith journey and has played a central role in shaping the faith of my family. I’m excited to support the incredible year-round team and contribute to the mission of Sky Ranch in any way I can. I look forward to reconnecting with old friends and meeting new faces as we continue to build this amazing community together.
