Every Kid Should Be Able to Experience Camp!

We never want the financial cost of camp to be the reason a camper can’t come and experience all that camp provides. Our scholarships are provided based on the needs of each camper so please fill out this Scholarship Application and send to ingrid@skyranchcolorado.org.

Who Doesn't Love a Camp Letter

Due to our remote location, snail mail is slow to make it to camp so here is what we suggest if you are hoping to get letters up to your camper.

  1. Send you mail to our Fort Collins Office so that when our staff are heading up and down the mountain during the week it can go up with them. This will need to be sent in advance of your campers week at camp in order for it to get to us before their week is over.
  2. Pre-write and bring your camper's mail to camp for drop-off. Our staff at Sunday check-in will store it so that your camper gets it during the week.
  3. Email your letter to registrar@skyranchcolorado.org and we will have it printed for your camper to receive during their week.

Let's Help YOU find US!

  1. From Fort Collins, drive North on US-287
  2. Turn left onto Highway 14 (Poudre Canyon). You will see a Loaf 'N Jug gas station. This is your last place for gas and cell service!

Camper Experiences

At Sky Ranch we are committed to creating a physically and emotionally safe environment for all as they grow in their faith, build new relationships, and try new things. To create this environment, clear expectations for campers' behavior are discussed with campers upon arrival at camp. These expectations include respect for others with appropriate language, actions, clothing, and physical contact. Should a camper exhibit behavior that is inappropriate, the staff have been trained to redirect the camper in a way that emphasizes a more positive and appropriate behavior.

We work hard as a staff team to ensure that all feel included and safe while they are attending camp sessions: onsite, offsite, and at day camps. Staff are trained to promote inclusion, kindness, communication, and positive relationships within their cabin groups and throughout the camp experience. Unfortunately, people who are bullied may not be able to experience camp in the way that we hope. Bullying is inexcusable, and we have a firm policy against all types of bullying. We take all incidents of bullying seriously.

If a camper continues to break rules or is disruptive to the program, they will meet with the Program Director or Executive Director to develop a written agreement on appropriate behavior. Parents/Guardians will be notified of the written agreement for appropriate behavior. At times, it is also helpful for us to contact the parents/guardians to provide insight into the behavior and possible solutions. Although it is our preferred practice that campers remain at camp, on the rare occasion that a camper exhibits behavior that is dangerous or overly disruptive to fellow campers, a parent/guardian may be asked to remove a camper from the camp environment at the parent/guardian's expense. In this event, no camp refunds will be made.

NOTE: The following situations will result in a camper being sent home immediately: possession and/or use of alcohol or drugs, possession and/or use of cigarettes (including e-cigarettes), possession of weapons, physical harm to themselves or another person, running away from camp, theft, or other behavior determined to be unacceptable (e.g., dangerous or overly disruptive behavior).

Individual registrations

  • Cancellations made prior to 3 weeks of your arrival at camp are eligible for a full refund minus the non-refundable deposit.
  • Cancellations made after the 3-week mark are not eligible for a refund.

Group Registrations

  • Cancellations made before April 15th are eligible for a full refund minus the non-refundable deposit.
  • Cancellations made after April 15th are not eligible for a refund. The congregation or organization will still be responsible for the balance owed on contract.

In the event of extenuating circumstances, refunds may be granted by the Sky Ranch Office on a case-by-case basis.

Individual registrations are required to pay a $100 deposit for each summer program registration.

Group registrations require the congregation or organization to pay a 25% deposit with the signed contract to secure the group hold registration regardless of the structure of payment.

These deposits are non-refundable and non-transferrable. A registration is not considered complete until a deposit has been received.

Final Payment for individual and group registrations is due 3 weeks prior to arrival at camp.

We offer payment plans so please let us know how we can help! These plans do not automatically apply so please contact our office to get a plan set up on your camper's profile.

Individual Registrations:

Cancellation to a registration can be made on your campers online profile. If within 3 weeks of your campers expected arrival please contact the Sky Ranch Office.

Group Registrations:

Coordinators will need to notify our office as soon as you learn of a change in group numbers. Our office will need to make adjustments to Group Hold information and the camper's registration status.

A 10% late fee will be added to your balance due if payment is not received by due date. Communicate with our office if you need to set-up a payment plan to avoid this fee.

ONLY for Group Registrations

For groups contracted in the summer, final numbers are needed by April 15th.

Final balance for groups will be no less than the balance reflected on the date of April 15th. Meaning a reduction in participant numbers will not be refunded. Congregations or organizations will be responsible for the number of participants on April 15th. Following April 15th, an increase can be permitted as long as there is availability to do so. Please contact the office as soon as you know of participant number changes.

Cancellations to a reservation made due to inclement weather are not subject to a refund unless the cancellation is issued by Sky Ranch. The safety of our guests is of the upmost importance to us, and that is why Program Staff watch weather and road conditions very closely to determine if a program should be cancelled. In the event of a Sky Ranch cancellation a full refund will be given, all other instances will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis upon request.

All dogs are to be on leash while on property.

If you are dropping-off/picking-up please be mindful that not all campers are comfortable with dogs. To be respectful of their possible fear, we suggest keeping them away from our campers checking-in and playing games.

Adult guest with dogs - Our on leash policy applies during the week as well. Please do not have your dog off-leash at any time.
