A Utah native, Tyler grew up in Cache Valley and spent his teenage summers up in the Sawtooth Mountains of Idaho at Luther Heights Bible Camp. Having no prior intention of working in the camp world, Tyler took a break from school in 2015 and finally decided to give it a try. As a blessing in disguise, he spent the next five summers, alongside returning to school, being a counselor, backpacking guide, and assistant program director for LHBC. In 2019, Tyler graduated in Outdoor Product Design and Development and spent the next couple years in the outdoor gear world. After hand-making ultralight backpacking bags, designing outdoor products, and surviving countless international development meetings, Tyler longed to return to outdoor ministry. He took a Director of Camp Operations role in Oregon that reignited his love for the camp world. Now Tyler hopes to utilize his passion and experience towards Sky Ranch as the High School Program Director. He is excited to help cultivate the future leaders of tomorrow through work and play up in the beautiful mountains of Colorado. When not outside, you can usually find him playing basketball, watching Star Wars, or creating with his 3D Printers.
