Daily medication is held by the nurse, emergency medication can be held by your child. When you drop off your child, a discussion can be had with the nurse to decide what the best course of action will be for your camper.
Yes, Sky Ranch strives to be fully accessible to all participants, regardless of financial means. No proof of income or other documentation is required. If you are affiliated with a Lutheran congregation, the church will often fund a portion of the camp fee as well. Our biggest goal is getting everyone to camp! If you need assistance for your child to come to camp, please complete the campership request form here and our staff will contact you to discuss your needs.
We require two forms from ALL Campers and Adult Sponsors planning on staying at camp. They can be found by hovering over Camps and selecting Camper Douments here on our website.

Yes, we can accommodate most types of food allergies and preferences. Sky Ranch operates with a “allergen aware” policy. Our food service staff are trained and certified in best practices of food preparation, handling, and preventing cross contamination. Unfortunately, due to the limited size of our facilities we cannot guarantee anything to be 100% free of a particular allergen. If you or your child has a serious allergy please contact our office and speak with Jeff Fairfax our Operations and Property Director who oversees food service at camp.
Yes, we have a camp store that will be open daily to all campers! We sell t-shirts, sweatshirts, water bottles, stickers and ice cream treats. We recommend you send no more than $50 with your camper but $10 is more than enough to get a couple ice cream treats and a sticker!
If you would like to add money to your camper's account ahead of their camp week, you can do so on their camper profile or call our office!

Please be mindful, weather on the mountain can be extreme and vary wildly throughout the day. We encourage layers!
As a licensed child-care facility, our campground is closed to the public during the hours of operation of our summer camp season. This means beginning June through August 15 our campground is closed Sunday, 12 pm through Friday, 4 pm.
Please check our Facility Rental tab to learn more.
In addition to the above FAQ, we strongly discourage this. Through our experience, campers with a parent’s present (or even known presence) tend to act out and not participate as openly in group settings/cabin settings as if their parents were not present.
Please call the office if you have further questions.
Campers 1st - 8th grade will sleep in our rustic camper cabins. Each cabin sleeps 10 campers with sets of twin bunkbeds. Each cabin has heat & electricty which is also centrally located around the shower house.
High School campers (while onsite) will get to enjoy their nights sleeping in our canvas tents either down by the creek at Beaver Flats or in the big open meadow at Beaver Meadows.
Backpacking groups will sleep out on trail. When they are camp, they will join the other High School locations.
